Exploring Asheville

Biltmore Estate

Not as old as it looks--The Biltmore was built in 1895 but has the elegance and appeal of something much older. Built and owned by the Vanderbilt family, the estate has served as a leaisure destination for family and friends, a farm and dairy producer, and finally a winery and tourist destination. Everything about the home and property is extravagent!

Brewery Tours

Asheville has quite a few breweries available and you can get around to a few of them with Asheville Brewery Tours. They offer a tour through many of Asheville's breweries, either on foot or in one of our great comfy passenger vans. They provide brew-master access, insight about the brewing process, tastings of many local beers, and an educated introduction to the diverse brewing scene of Asheville and its history with ale.

Mount Mitchell

The highest mountain east of Mississippi is Mount Mitchell. About a one hour drive Northeast of Asheville takes you into the Pisgah National Forrest where you can see the hills of the Appalachian Mountains. The top of Mount Mitchell is easily accessible by car.
